A Private Coaching Program

The voice can be a powerful tool for any speaker. But many people repress, contain or even alter their "true" voice. Other individuals wish to reduce an accent or change their vocal style. Voice of a Leader is a one-on-one program that helps executives effect these and other changes so they can lead and influence every time they speak.

A Customized Curriculum
This private, highly customized program consists of between three to five two-hour sessions. The length and scope of the program is determined during a complimentary initial meeting. During the program, clients learn how to unlock the power of their voices. Topics include how to:

  • Observe and free your breath.
  • Develop your authentic voice.
  • Reduce your accent.
  • Articulate clearly with energy and precision.
  • Speak with expression and vocal color.
  • Project your voice so others can hear you clearly.
  • Use an appropriate volume in every situation.
  • Avoid "upspeak" and other weak vocal patterns.
  • Sound assertive, but not aggressive.
  • Use pauses to create power.

Applied Learning
Each session provides applied learning. The individual who takes the program will roleplay common speaking situations where they wish to be more effective. Through videotaped or audiotaped feedback, the instructor will outline ways to unlock the full vocal strength. Each session concludes with vocal exercises to practice prior to the next session.

Our vocal coaches have extensive experience teaching voice to corporate executives. They are actors, theatre directors and highly trained vocal specialists.
